Q1. While you achieved some degree of success with “BERSERK” in its first round of development, what are the target figures for its second round? Can you also share the sales volume you expect for “BERSERK MUSO” by KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD.?

A1. It is difficult to say since the development of pachinko and pachislot machines, which is the pillar of the second round of development, has yet to commence, but if it is expanded into pachinko and pachislot machines, I think we should be aiming for similar or higher figures compared to the first round. Although the proceeds from film and game adaptations were negative during the first round, we expect positive returns from film adaptations once proceeds from distribution are included. Therefore, in the second round, there will be a change in the business model. We will use pachinko and pachislot machines as leverage while increasing profit with film adaptations.
The distributor for “BERSERK MUSO” is KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. and we would like to refrain from speculating about their sales figures. However, we see “BERSERK MUSO” as a new IP, and think new cross-media expansion using the IP is possible.
