FIELDS CORPORATION Group goes along with RICOH JAPAN Corporation’s activities to supports universities, and collaborated in organizing a study tour for foreign students to learn about Japanese universities and companies.
On August 22, 2018, 11 students from the University of Hong Kong visited “OPAKIS,” the motion capture studio of Digital Frontier Inc., our group company, as part of a program of company visits.
In the tour, the students tried on special suits used in motion capture to experience the role of an actor. They toured how computer-generated footage is produced from the movement of real people. All of the students showed great interest in the motion capture technology and equipment, and enjoyed their one hour visit.
We hope to collaborate with more companies in the future, continuing to conduct various activities that make a contribution to society.
