Environmental and Social ActivitiesDecember 2023Carried out a regular cleanup activity in Shibuya’s Nampeidai-cho neighborhood
On December 20, 2023, 16 employee volunteers carried out a regular cleanup activity in Nampeidai-cho, Shibuya, Tokyo, where TSUBURAYA FIELDS HOLDINGS and other companies’ head office are located, as a part of CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities. This activity involves calling on all head office employees via email every month and conducting the activity with the gathered members.
In this time, we collected one 90L bag of burnable trash, one bag of non-burnable trash (including screwdriver set and a broken glasses and other items), 22 cans, four glass bottles, and approximately 15 plastic bottles.
Our group will continuously undertake a variety of measures linked to local society contributions and environmental protection. -

On December 14th (Thursday) and 15th (Friday), 2023, the ULTRAMAN FOUNDATION conducted a support visit to 12 locations including kindergartens, nurseries, and other facilities in Fukuoka Prefecture, that had been affected by seasonal rain front 2023, resulting in flooding and damage to the buildings.
Ultra Heros, accompanied by the children, engaged in activities such as "Ultraman exercises" and fingerplays. They also took commemorative photographs, creating a time filled with continuous smiles. Interaction with the children, including high-fives, was a delightful part of the visit. In addition, the ULTRAMAN FOUNDATION presented each facility with the “ULTRAMAN FOUNDATION Family Certificate,” a symbol of the bond between Ultra heroes and children, along with an original DVD and various Ultraman series-related merchandise, including books and clothes.
Visiting Targets:
Facilities affected by the aforementioned disasters: 12 facilities / Number of children at the facilities: approx. 1,200

On November 29, 2023, 13 employee volunteers carried out a regular cleanup activity in Nampeidai-cho, Shibuya, Tokyo, where TSUBURAYA FIELDS HOLDINGS and other companies’ head office are located, as a part of CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities. This activity involves calling on all head office employees via email every month and conducting the activity with the gathered members.
In this time, we collected one 90L bag of burnable trash, one bag of non-burnable trash (including a wire hanger, a folding chair and other items), about 20 cans, about 10 glass bottles, and approximately 15 plastic bottles.
Our group will continuously undertake a variety of measures linked to local society contributions and environmental protection. -

As part of its CSR activities, we participated in the “Autumn Regulation Awareness Campaign 2023” sponsored by Shibuya Ward, site of the Company’s head office on November 1, 2023.
Volunteers participated in the activities and cleaned up the areas around Shibuya Station.

On October 31, 2023, 14 employee volunteers carried out a regular cleanup activity in Nampeidai-cho, Shibuya, Tokyo, where TSUBURAYA FIELDS HOLDINGS and other companies’ head office are located, as a part of CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities. This activity involves calling on all head office employees via email every month and conducting the activity with the gathered members.
In this time, we collected one 90L bag of burnable trash, one bag of non-burnable trash (including about 5 lighters, 1 portable stove, 1 gas canister, 2 canned items and other items), one 45L bag of cans, about 5 glass bottles, and approximately 15 plastic bottles.

Environmental and Social ActivitiesOctober 2023[Group CSR] “KAIJU STEP SDGs Daisakusen Meal Service Week for Future,” a food education event, was held at kindergartens and nursery schools across the country.

From Monday, October 23rd, to Friday, October 27th, in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions and Uokuni Food Services Co.,Ltd., a company involved in school lunch services, the program “KAIJU STEP SDGs Daisakusen Meal Service Week for Future” was implemented at kindergartens and nurseries across the country (targeting approximately 50,000 people). Special school lunch menus focusing on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) were provided on a daily basis from Monday to Friday, allowing children to learn about SDGs in an enjoyable way.
On October 25th (Wednesday), as a related event, a food education program was conducted at a kindergarten in Osaka Prefecture. The program featured the character “Pig-chan” from KAIJU STEP SDGs Daisakusen and included a meal using shark meat, which is rarely used, along with the screening of an anime addressing marine litter issues. This helped deepen the understanding of SDGs among 41 preschoolers (5-year-old class).
In the future, our group will continue to engage in various activities that contribute to raising awareness and achieving SDGs, as well as making social contributions.

Kaiju Step Wandabada, an anime featuring the popular KAIJU from Ultraman series as the cute “Little Kaiju,” is expanding its activities such as the distribution of animations and events for children who first learn about SDGs, as well as on-site classes.

The ULTRAMAN FOUNDATION conducted a support visit to six locations in Akita City, Akita Prefecture, on October 23rd (Monday) and 24th (Tuesday), 2023, to child-related facilities that had been affected by heavy rainfall since July 15, 2023, resulting in flooding and damage to the buildings.
Ultraman Zero, accompanied by the children, engaged in activities such as "Ultraman exercises" and fingerplays. Environmental and Social ActivitiesAugust 2023We organized a visit to OPAKIS (the studio of Digital Frontier Inc.) for students from the University of Hong Kong.
TSUBURAYA FIELDS HOLDINGS Group has endorsed the purpose of activities to support university internationalization and global human resource development promoted by RICOH JAPAN. We cooperated in conducting study tours, inviting overseas students to Japan to experience Japanese culture and business environment through visits to Japanese universities, exchanges between students, and company tours.
On August 2, 2023, 14 students from the University of Hong Kong visited “OPAKIS,” the motion capture studio of Digital Frontier Inc., our group company, as part of a program of company visits.
After an explanation of the equipment and motion capture technology, the participants put on a motion shooting suits and experienced being a cameraman who shoots the actors and their motions. The students were able to see how real human movements were converted into data and a CG video work was created, and enjoyed the tour for about an hour and a half.
We hope to collaborate with more companies in the future, continuing to conduct various activities that make a contribution to society. -

Over the two days of Monday, March 13, and Tuesday, March 14, 2023, ULTRAMAN FOUNDATION, along with Ultraseven and his son Ultraman Zero, visited 10 facilities, including nurseries in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, which were damaged by Typhoon No. 15 from September 23 to 24, 2022.
Ultra heroes and children enjoyed Ultraman Exercises and a fingerplay song of The Ultraman from First Street together and they took commemorative photos to have a great time.
The ULTRAMAN FOUNDATION pledges to continue these activities in hopes of bettering the futures of children.
